Dr. LaBella awarded NIH Grant

Dr. LaBella was recently awarded the Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA R35) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. This research program is entitled: Role of codon usage bias in eukaryotic evolution and regulation.


Over the next five years, this funding will allow us to conduct cutting edge codon usage research while supporting the training of students within the lab.
